Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, what power!


Good news for all fans of Chevrolet Camaro, ZL1 model will be equipped with more powerful engine  and stabilization of a supercar Corvette ZR1.  Fans of automatic transmissions will also get their version of the machine. In previous news staff Chevrolet promised 550-hp eight-cylinder engine of 6.2 liters and a mechanical supercharger.  This design was supposed to add six-speed manual transmission Tremec TR-6060 with the approximate ratios.  How much will be increased efficiency motor now, is still unknown. Series production Camaro ZL1 to begin in the first quarter of 2012. Recall that the Camaro ZL1 Coupe was introduced in February this year at an auto show in Chicago.  The car, in addition to the engine from the "charged" Cadillac CTS-V, also has reinforced driveshafts and a limited slip differential, 20-inch alloy wheels, 6-piston brakes with 370 mm discs at the front axle (rear mounted 4-piston with 365 -mm discs), and adaptive suspension Magnetic Ride.
