Spyker D8 SUV

New Spyker D8 SUV Heading to Geneva Motor Show 2014!!

Eight years after the original Spyker D8 Peking-to-Paris SUV appeared, the company is set to debut an updated Spyker D8 SUV at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show 2014 next year.
Since forging its joint venture with Chinese investor Youngman last year. The ‘P2P’ project could become Spyker’s second model if it receives a positive reception. If that’s the case, the new Spyker D8 SUV will follow after the Spyker B6 Venator. As it stands  Spyker hopes that the Spyker B6 Venator will hit the market early next year.

Lotus Eterne Sedan Concept

Lotus has been having issues with identity and direction for some time now. Certain factors — including poor leadership — have left the storied carmaker’s lineup fairly stale for several years. Now, though it appears that things might at least be going somewhere.

Jean-Marc Gales, Lotus CEO as of a few months ago has presented a new business plan that includes a Lotus four door sedan and a crossover SUV, in a meeting attended by both parent company Proton’s CEO Datuk Abdul Harith Abdullah and Lotus COO Aslam Farikullah.

Audi go budget for luxury vehicles

Audi is closing in on Daimler AG´s Mercedes-Benz in the small but crucial market for premium cars priced that start below $30,000.
In its first three months on the market, Audi´s A3 outsold the comparable Mercedes entry-level coupe almost two to one, according to researcher Auto data Corp.

BMW i8 supercar

BMW has sold out of its i8 supercar just two weeks after deliveries started, with new buyers now being told they’ll have to wait up to 10 months to get their hands on the £95,000 hybrid machine, the company has said.
The most successful dealer so far has been BMW’s i showroom on Park Lane in London’s Mayfair with 170 orders. The sales manager there, Peter Adams, told The Telegraph he was staggered at the car’s success. We’ve had numerous people asking to buy the display car.

Google launches new driverless car

Google has launched its new autonomous car. It is an evolution of the patented technology a few years ago and now has dispensed with steering wheel or pedals. Total, why need a robot with wheels? The vehicle opens up a world of possibilities, but also poses a few problems that make it clear that it will not arrive tomorrow to roads.
Before talking about the new device and its challenges, we review the path followed Google to get here. In 2011, the company in the United States a patent for autonomous car capable of driving on their own without human intervention. Through all kinds of sensors, cameras and internet connection, the car could recognize its surroundings and act accordingly.
