Electric on the basis of the current Mercedes A-klasse plans to release Daimler AG. Premiere electric hatchback will be held at the Paris Motor Show this autumn.
E-Cell - a name given to this modification - is equipped with lithium-ion battery development of the American firm Tesla and a 40 kW electric motor that develops 290 Nm of torque. The power plant provides a power reserve of 290 km.
Scheduled to release early next year a series of 500 A-klasse E-cell, which will travel to various countries in Europe to undergo long tests.
