Serially such vehicles have not yet made, as a rule, four-door convertibles - these are ordinary tuned sedans with cut roof. Making such a machine based on the Panamera requires a substantial increase bottom and bulkheads to provide sufficient rigidity. So far it has been a stumbling block for all such projects, but the Porsche has found the solution through the use of new high-strength steels, high toughness. Another problem - too much space folding roof, which, moreover, will take almost the entire volume of the luggage. The new convertible Panamera will use soft tissue roof. Maybe after some time, such projects will appear in other automakers.
