Volkswagen will launch a separate brand in China


Volkswagen is preparing to launch a new brand that will be implemented cost cars designed for the Chinese market.
Negotiations on this issue with Chinese partners concern are already under way. Presumably, the cost of future models of the new brand will not exceed 8,000 euros. We recall not so long ago, Volkswagen reported its intention to develop a budget compact car with an Indian company Maruti.
Inexpensive models for China, under separate brand names have already presented General Motors and Honda, similar plans to build PSA Peugeot-Citroen.
By the end of 2010, China became the largest automobile market in the world: car sales totaled 13.8 million units here.
